A walking Safari in Kenya is a rare opportunity to actually walk in selected areas of thi beautifull country Kenya and mingle with the local people as you enjoy the scenary and view worldlife.You will walk in the Game Parks (Hell's Gate National Park) where you will have an option for Rock climbing. The climax of this Walking Safari in Kenya will be at Mt. Longonot,where you will hike up the inactive volcano mountain sorrounded by some of the famous game animals...
Day 1: Nairobi:
Arrival in Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta Intl Airport and transfer to a Nairobi hotel dinner and bed at the hotel.
You will be driven down the Rift Valley after an early breakfast with a stoppover at the view point to catch a view of this great escarpment.Get into Naivasha town to the Lake side Elsamere Lodge-Once a home for George and Joy Adamson. Here you will have Lunch then enjoy a boat ride to Crescent Island for a short walking Safari. Crescent Island is a Wildlife paradise Wild animals found here include Zebras,Girrafes,Buffaloes,and Antelopes. On Lake Naivasha you will see Hippos submerged ob the shores of the Lake near Papyrus weeds waiting to feed at night,not to forget hundreds of birds a perfect Birding Safari!(Dinner & bed at a Elsamere Lodge)
You will have an early morning visit to the park for a walking safari. In this park we have different wildlife and unique natural attractions. You will also have an option of Rock climbing. You will have packe lunch before proceeding for a final walk in the Park . (,Dinner and Bed at the Elsamere Lodge)
After an early breakfast, you will take a ride to you will take a ride to Mt. Longonot for a walk and hiking up the extinct Volcanic Mountain. For biking ethusiasts you can have an option of riding a mountain bike.. Here you will also get different varieties of Game especially Buffaloes and Gazelles. (Dinner and Bed at a Nakuru Hotel)
Start a morning walk to Menengai crater, a distance of about 6 km fom the town.Here you will pass by a shopping centre near the crate where you will have an oppourtunity to mingle with the locals and find out a thing or two about their lifestyle.You can also buy some handicrafts at the crater to take home for family and friends. Not to forget mentioning the Beautifull sceneries atop the Menengai crater, a vew of lake Nakuru,and The Great Rift Valley is breath taking.(Dinner and Night at Nakuru)
Day 6: Lake Nakuru National Park.
On the sixth day of your walking safari in Kenya,you will take a break and visit Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive and a Birding Safari at the Park. Known Worldly as a Flamingo Paradise, Lake Nakuru is a home to thousands of Flamingos and other Birds. We have abundant of wildlife at the Park including the Black and White Rhinos,Baboons,Monkeys,The Largest Antelopes-Elands,Water-Bucks,Hyenas,Warthogs,among others. You will then have a farewell party at a Nakuru Hotel before a drive to Nairobi for a flight back home.
