MOMBASA BEACH SAFARI SUMMARY
Key Information: This safari will take you to the Aberdare National Park on the first day were you will spend the night, then you will enjoy the spectacular view of the Rift valley to Lake Nakuru a Flamingo sanctuary. Here you will have a chance to visit the world renowned Rhino Sanctuary dedicated to the conservation of the White Rhino.From Lake Nakuru Game Park you will be driven to Lake Naivasha. This is another important attraction that has several types of wildlife and hotels. The next phase will be Maasai mara once declared the 7th wonder of the world. The richness of game,nature,scenic and other wonders is amazing. An afternoon game drive will prove this. You can also decide to enjoy a ballon ride and have a birds view of the reserve(this will come at an exta cost).Then you will go down to Amboseli National Park at the foothill of Kilimanjaro and also have a moment to view wildlife. At almost the end of your safari, you will have a cultural visit of the Giriama people at the cost town of Mombasa. On your final day you will visit the Marine National Parks, have fun at the Indian ocean and enjoy water games of your choice.
Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Aberdares National Park A representative will meet you on arrival in Nairobi. After a short briefing by your expert driver guide, your tour takes you towards the foothills of the Aberdares Range to a Hotel for dinner. Day 2: Lake Nakuru After breakfast we are driving through the forested hills of the Aberdares before descending 1000m onto the floor of the Great Rift Valley, to the Lake Nakuru National park. After a lunch at Nakuru we proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park, a shallow soda lake, which inhabits more than a million flamingoes. The Lake Nakuru National parkalso has a Rhino sanctuary, and other animals to be seen here are lion, buffalo, waterbuck, hippo and warthog. Dinner and overnight at a Nakuru hotel . All meals included. Day 3: Lake Naivasha After an early breakfast you drive to a hotel near Lake Naivasha, arrive in time for lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. This is a very scenic and relaxing place to unwind with its commanding setting at the foot of the Rift Valley Escarpment. Stay overnight a Naivasha hotel or similar. All meals included. Day 4: Masai Mara After breakfast leave for Maasai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the game reserve, which is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge. All meals included. Day 5: Masai Mara Today enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive and the opportunity to spot Africa's 'Big Five' of lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. You also have the option to book a balloon ride (425US$ per person additional). All meals included. Day 6: Amboseli In the morning depart for a game drive in the Amboseli National Park, set at the the foot of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli National Park has a prolific population of elephants. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli . All meals included. Day 7: Tsavo West This morning after an early breakfast you will meet your guide and depart by road with for the legendary land of the Maneaters Tsavo. A diverse and vast park, with large numbers of wildlife including elephant, giraffe, rhino, lion, huge herds of buffalo, and a variety of bird species. You will arrive in time for lunch at the Kilaguni Lodge. Kilaguni was Kenya's first wildlife lodge and is known for its magnificent setting in the heart of the Park with views of the Chyulu Hills and the snowy peaks of Kilimanjaro. Each room has a private verandah overlooking a waterhole and Mt. Kilimanjaro. All meals included. Day 8: Kenya Beach After an early breakfast we board our vehicles and make the three-hour drive to the Indian Ocean. We generally follow the Galana River for most of the way, passing charming Giriama villages crowded with bananas and palms. Arrive at the palm-fringed Indian Ocean, where we stay on one of the best beaches Hotels in Kenya. It's a good opportunity to relax after our adventures in the bush. Overnight at Mombasa. The hotel grounds descend in a series of terraces to the curved pool and the white sandy beach. the all inclusive offers include full board, a selection of locally produced drinks and a variety of sports. Breakfast and dinner. Day 9-13: Indian Ocean Coast Days for leisure at the beach. Options include snorkeling excursions to the Marine National Park and coastal bird-watching in Mida Creek Reserve or in the lovely forests surrounding the Gedi ruins, an old Swahili town that was destroyed by the Zimba cannibals in the 15th century. Also you can do deep wind surfing,snorkelling,scuba diving sailing and more. Overnight Mombasa. Day 14: Departure Transfer to Mombasa Airport for your flight to Nairobi and connect for your flight home.
