Full maasai mara camping & Balloon ride safari Itinerary
This Maasai Mara Camping and Balloon ride is a safari experience that stays in your memory for a very long time.Camping at Maasai Mara gives you a nocturnal experience of the game reserve. You get to hear the animals calling at each other at night,a late evening game drive as you head for dinner gives you a chance to view some of the wildanimals that comes out when the sun goes down...The most exciting moment will be when riding a balloon and catching a birds eye view of the reserve...
Day 1
Day 1: Leave Nairobi for Maasai Mara at 06:30 hours via the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley having a stopover on the route to capture some images of the Great Rift Valley. Move past the picturesque volcanic mountains of Longonot and Suswa before continuing to the Mara. Our arrival in the Mara is before lunch and for this we will check in and have a rest while waiting to have lunch. We will have a Maasai village excursion after lunch to be followed by an afternoon game drive in search of the big five and other game including zebras, impalas, gazelles, elands, giraffes, warthogs and much more. Dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.Day 2: An early wake up call for breakfast to be followed by a full day game drive in search of more wildlife and birds in the Mara. This total exploration will lead us all the way to 'the River of Life and Death', the Mara River, where we will see hippos and crocodiles basking lazily on the river banks. We will enjoy a picnic lunch will here while we enjoy the cool atmosphere of riverbanks. After lunch we will drive appreciating wildlife and sceneries on our way back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Leave for an early game drive or for those who fancy ballooning
they will have this precious moment for an hour before enjoying a
champagne breakfast in the bush. After all these, we will reunite and
then leave the Mara for a drive back to Nairobi where this tour ends in
the late afternoon.
N.B:This safari can be extended according to your wish.
