The cottages and campsite are located on a where one can enjoy the freedom to go on long walks, relax or

and chickens and burn up their excess energy.
• Acacia Cottage is perfect for a couple wanting to get away for the weekend and enjoy the tranquility of a country lifestyle.
This romantic relaxing retreat has a cozy conservatory and is set aside under the largest Acacia abyssinnica in Kenya.
• The Yellow Room is ideal for those people who want to escape the impersonal feel of a large hotel and enjoy a home from
home after a busy day on the road. We can adapt to your agenda with flexible meal times.
• Albizia Cottage, built during the late twenties, has been restored back to a unique but affordable self-catering holiday home.
A well-equipped kitchen, a lounge with a cozy fireplace and a spacious verandah (great in the morning sunshine) make for a
homely setting.
• Kenana Cottage, with a modern yet colonial style fitting with the rest of the accomodation. An open plan kitchen, and
lounge with an open fire and a spacious verandah with great views of the rift valley, provides a unique but affordable home
from home.
• Mutati Cottage is a quaint comfortable hideaway. Provides an affordable self-catering holiday home. A compact kitchen, a
lounge with a cozy fireplace, and a verandah (great in the morning sunshine) make for a homely setting. The upstairs master
bedroom boasts an elevated, 180 degree view, across the rift valley from its own private verandah. You have the option of
full catering on a per person basis.
• The Tree House is up in a huge beaugonvillia, and suits those who enjoy the informal nature of the campsite. Appreciate
the elevated view from the luxury of your double bed or private veranda.
• Cobbs Carriage –Powys Cobb built his Mvuli Caravan in the late 1920’s-it is now retired to the campsite and rests under
the over hanging branches of a beautiful Jacaranda. Tastefully modernized with electricity, basin with running water and a
shady patio.
• Kembu Campsite has been designed specifically to appeal to both large and small groups who can enjoy their own
personal space and privacy within this well landscaped garden, spacious, no mud, no mess. It has all the creature comforts
you could want when camping, including luxurious long-drops, hot showers, a great bar and excellent staff.
There are numerous day trips in easy reach of the farm. These include: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Bogoria National Reserve, Menengai
Crater, the Mau Forest and Kiplombe Valley. The enjoyable hours spent exploring the wilds of this wonderful area are made more idyllic knowing
there is a warm and inviting base awaiting your return.

DIRECTIONS TO KEMBU COTTAGES & CAMPSITE
Leave Nairobi on the Main Highway using the A104
Nairobi to Naivasha 1 hour
Pass Naivasha on towards Nakuru
Naivasha to Nakuru 1 hour
5km from Nakuru town centre turn Left to Njoro on the C56
Nakuru to Farm 30 minutes
At T junction in Njoro Town turn Right towards Molo
Pass over railway crossing through Njoro town, then 5km later turn Left
onto Kenana Farm / Kembu Campsite driveway ~ large green chameleon sign on this junction.
Follow the all weather dirt road, round a 90° bend to the Right, then keep Left at the fork in the road.
It is 1.5km from the tarmac to the Kembu Cottages/Campsite gate.

Over 30 days Notice - 80% of total booking payment will be credited at Kembu.
Less than 30 days Notice - 50% of total booking payment will be credited at Kembu.
Less than 7 days Notice - 0% of total booking payment will be credited at Kembu.
