Full great rift valley safari Itinerary

This Great Rift valley safari,is a an expedition through the major attactions of the Rift Valley in Kenya. This safari starts at Lake Nakuru National Park a Birding paradise and also a home to a big variety of wild animals,including the Buffaloes,Elands,Gazelles,Impalas,Waterbucks,Girrafes,Warthogs,Zebras,Hyenas Monkeys and Babboons among others.Lions are also present but extreamely rare during daytime. The birds are abundant in the Lake expecially The Flamingos,Pelicans,stocks,ibises among many others.A safari to Lake Bogoria will give you a view of the only hot water spring in the country.At Lake Baringo one of the fresh water Lakes in The Great Rift Valley,you will take a Boat ride to some of its seven islands including the devil island....

Day 1: Nairobi-Lake Nakuru
09:00 hours Depart from Nairobi for a journey south along the floor of the Great Rift, arriving Nakuru for Lunch (picnic lunch en-route). Afternoon at around 04:30 p.m. proceed for a game drive of Lake Nakuru often described as "World's greatest bird spectacle" return to camp or Budget Hotel. for dinner and Overnight.

(late arrivals will spend overnight in Nairobi)

Day 2: Nakuru-Bogoria and Baringo
After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for Lake Bogoria. Hot springs, caution must be taken while walking nearby as these springs are super-hot. Flamingos can be viewed while exploring this area by foot. After further viewing of this scenic lake we drive 30 km north to Lake Baringo where an optional one hour boat trip to view the many birds which inhabit this lake. Hippos can also be seen.
From here we drive back to Nakuru for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Nakuru-Mara
Full day spent with an early morning and afternoon game viewing across the rich, tree studded grasslands and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains' game, black-maned lion, leopard and cheetah, but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. All meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 4: Mara
Full day spent with an early morning and afternoon game viewing across the rich, tree studded grasslands and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains' game, black-maned lion, leopard and cheetah, but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. All meals and overnight at the camp.
