"For years i had been looking for a house where George and i coold live...
Eventually i found a place that seemed to combined all we wished for...
It would be possible to imagine a more attractive site for a home...
We decided to call our home Elsamere"Joy Adamson.

Elsamere is the former home of the Adamsons on the shores of Lake Naivasha in Kenya.Its a nature lover's paradise with great variety of bird life,wildlife and spledid flora.
Elsamere prides it self for its resident black and white colobus monkeys,hippos,zebras and elands which frequent the centre. We have guided nature walks to see birds and wildlife. Elsamere is a bird watchers paradise with over 200 species of birds! You will have a chance to experience the African Fish Eagle hunting while on a boat ride.
ACCOMMODATION

Accomodation at elsamere Lodge ensures that you have a truly serene environment, ideal for relaxing outside on the lawns or within the confines of your cottage or just enjoying a good read. Each cottage has an ensuite bathroom,spacious and warm interior with a verandah providing you with views of Lake Naivasha.

You will have an opportunity to visit other attractions neighbouring Elsamere Conservation Centre,which inludes a boat ride to Crescent Island a hub for wildlife and Birding safari.Also found near Elsamere Conservation Centre is the famous Hell's gate National Park known for its unique wildlife and adventures. Some of the activities at the Park include,hiking,rock climbing,walking safari among others.Not to forget mentioning The Joy & George Adamson Museum at the Lodge.Visitors can go through a historical collections of art,books,guns and personal items belonging to this world renowned couple. George was a Lion Conservationist while his wife Joy was an artist,author of world acclaimed books e.g 'Born free'She is also known for the animals she cared for expecially
"Elsa"-the Lion. The Land-rover that George was driving when his life was cut short,is parked at the park of the main house which is the Elsamere Lodge.
